The brewster / edit | Travel Design Service Agreement
Updated: June 27, 2025
Welcome to the brewster / edit, where travel is designed with precision, intention, and beauty. It’s our privilege to craft bespoke experiences through the Travel Design services described below, offered under this Service Agreement (“Agreement”).
By submitting payment, engaging with our design services, or accessing your custom itinerary, you agree to the terms set forth herein. If you do not accept this Agreement, you may not proceed with the travel design experience.
This Agreement is made between the brewster / edit (the “Travel Designer”) and you, the traveler (the “Client”). Where we bring design-minded travel expertise, you bring the vision. Let’s create something remarkable together.
1. Our Services
We offer full-service travel planning including itinerary design, hotel and flight bookings, and curated experiences across culture, design, food, wellness, and more. Concierge enhancements such as private guides, restaurant reservations, spa appointments, and local excursions are also available. Fees for these services are based on your trip’s scope and level of personalization.
2. Planning Fee
A one-time non-refundable planning fee (the “Initial Planning Fee”) is required to initiate our work. This fee is determined by the complexity and duration of your trip, as outlined in your “Plan Your Journey” form. Once your agreement is confirmed and the planning fee is received, we begin designing your custom itinerary. Travel costs and bookings are paid directly by the Client to each respective provider.
3. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate traveler details and payment information as needed.
All travel arrangements are confirmed only upon your approval, and are subject to availability until booked.
Should you shift the destination or scope of your journey, we must be informed prior to you booking alternative travel independently.
We require hotel bookings to be made through the brewster / edit to maintain our access to exclusive perks and compensation. A 10% fee applies if we recommend a property and it’s booked independently.
We highly recommend travel insurance, and will provide an option; should you decline, you assume all related risks.
You are responsible for securing valid passports, visas, and travel documentation. Please consult your local government office for the most up to date rules and regulations.
4. Working with Global Partners
We act as your design consultant and travel strategist. While we facilitate planning, all bookings are made directly between you and the travel providers (airlines, hotels, etc.). As such, we are not liable for issues related to third-party services or vendors. You agree to indemnify us against any claims or damages related to those third-party services.
5. Limitation of Liability
While we aim to design extraordinary experiences, the brewster / edit is not responsible for travel disruptions, provider errors, weather-related changes, or client dissatisfaction with provider services. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service fee paid. We are not liable for consequential, emotional, or punitive damages.
6. Termination
Should you choose to cancel your engagement, the Initial Planning Fee is non-refundable. Upon written notice of termination (email is acceptable), we will cease all planning services.
7. General Terms
Force Majeure: We are not responsible for delays due to uncontrollable events (natural disasters, war, etc.).
Confidentiality: All planning tools, supplier contacts, documents, and pricing structures shared with you are confidential.
Entire Agreement: This document is the full agreement between both parties.

Dispute Resolution: Disputes will first go through mediation. If unresolved, they will be submitted to binding arbitration in New York County, NY.
